Formally known as Costus Amazonicus, this type of spiraling ginger originates from Tropical Southern and Central America and Asia.

This rare and beautiful plant displays strong creamy white variegation, with painterly leaves streaked with light green, dark green and cream.  Leaves are held in a spiral along the stem, which as the plant matures, form elegant arching curves.

Place in bright, indirect light for best growth and allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
